Horizon Therapy Centre
Guided by a spirit of generosity and love, a heritage building was renovated in 2000 to welcome Horizon Therapy Centre. As we celebrated our 25th anniversary in July 2025, it became a meaningful opportunity to pause and reflect. Through this reflection, I realized the importance of creating a healthier work–life balance to continue offering the work I love with presence, energy, and purpose.
September 2025 marked an exciting new chapter for Horizon Therapy Centre as it transitioned to a new location.
Situated along the beautiful Sydenham River in downtown Owen Sound, the location offers convenient riverside parking and ramp access, ensuring comfort and accessibility for all clients. This tranquil environment provides an ideal space to enjoy the restorative effects of massage therapy-relieving tension and discomfort, increasing mobility, fostering balance, and supporting emotional wellness.
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a peaceful, nurturing space designed to help you unwind from the very first moment. Together, we’ll review your health history and, complete assessments such as joint range-of-motion testing to identify areas needing focused support. This collaborative approach encourages open communication, builds trust, and ensures clear goals are set before your treatment begins.
Registered Massage Therapy is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing. It can reduce muscle tension and joint discomfort, relieve pain, increase mobility, and calm the nervous system—helping ease stress and promote overall wellness. Incorporating regular Massage Therapy into your routine may also help decrease the frequency of headaches, jaw pain , support chronic pain management, assist with rehabilitation, and prevent future injuries.
